[ConnectEO] Potential of EO technologies to address maritime challenges in Australia

The aim of this webinar is to provide EO SMEs with understanding of the main aspects concerning the marine/maritime sector in Australia and its challenges.

Thi webinar will be led by Professor David Antoine, senior research scientist with the Marine Optics and Remote Sensing group of the Laboratoire d’Océanographie de Villefranche in France. He joined Curtin University to lead the RSSRG in July 2013. His research interests include marine optics, bio-optics, radiative transfer and applications, satellite ocean colour remote sensing including atmospheric corrections, modelling of oceanic primary production from satellite ocean colour. He is currently a member of the “Earth Observation Australia” steering committee, and member of the Science and Technology Advisory Committee of the Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS).
