Vana Principia

Our organization aims to develop a tool that will use EO data (mainly those from the Copernicus program) to generate parameters about local climate (yearly estimate) for specific coordinates. Thanks to these parameters and the targeted area given by the client, we will identify adapted plants and generate a design maximizing diversity and natural resources production (automatizing the right “permaculture” design).

What do you offer?

For now, we are:

  • developing the software that will extract and translate EO data for specific coordinates to local climate parameters
  • developing the software that will generate an adapted 3D plant architecture for the given area

We also intend to ease action by providing information regarding local nurserymen and seeds suppliers needed to “make it real”.

We already have a plant database (> 30000 species) with their needs and shapes and a field in France to model and test our solution. Our main objective is to ease and accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable, scalable and local agriculture.

What are you looking for?

We are looking for partners / experts that understand our objective and will want to work with us on this project (early adopters/testers). Any expert (EO data, permaculture, agroforestry) would be a great help to us as this project make sense only at a large scale.
